Background
Durning the day, jur1st leverages his passion for technology and the law at a Kansas City law firm where he works as an electronic discovery consultant. In his ample free time, he is CCCKC President and serves on the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section Board of Directors.
He is also a frequent speaker on the intersection of law and technology and has been featured at continuing education programs put on by the KCMBA, UMKC School of Law, and Lorman Education. He as also spoken at Shmoocon, Blackhat USA, the inevitable and unstoppable Pumpcon, and of course DEFCON where he also serves as a goon.

Ongoing Projects
- NinjaCopy (in development) - A script which leverages the power of Robocopy to automate the collection of files during electronic discovery
- Untitled (early planning) - A platform based in Mac OS X which will process electronic files by extracting text, metadata, converting to a flat image. Information will be placed into a database which can then be used for document review purposes.
