What is the Cowtown Computer Congress?

CCCKC is a grassroots organization of tinkerers, hackers, explorers, artists, inventors and technology enthusiasts in the Kansas City area.

Purpose and Structure

Provide technology education to all interested parties on a wide variety of subjects from web development and graphic design to electronics and security
Give back to the community by donating group projects to local art and technology installations, youth mentoring and building awareness of the rich and robust technology community in the Kansas City area
Provide a space for local technology user groups to use for meetings and projects
Support user groups through joint promotion, organization and cooperation

The board of directors which (in addition to officers) is comprised of representatives from each affiliated organization. The board of directors, and therefore all affiliate organizations, shall have a say in all decisions regarding the CCCKC headquarters such as scheduling, usage of space and access.

Our new space is located in a Cave! The Downtown Underground at 31st and Mercier is our new hacking headquarters.
